My name is Tessy

I was born in Mexico City.

I am a Pastry Chef trained at the French Culinary Institute in New York. However, my passion for pastry began even before I was born, with my grandmother’s grandmothers, who passed on, from generation to generation, the treasure of aromas and flavors of the European Jewish cuisine.

My grandma, my abue, was a wonderful baker, and every time I was fortunate enough to be with her in the kitchen, I experienced a fantastic adventure, as she made me, in turn, the depository of centuries of teachings where each cookie, cake or jam, more than a dessert became a delicious caress to the soul.

For as long as I can remember, it amazes me how the magical mixture of certain ingredients, baked with love, can give rise to explosions of flavor with the ability to sweeten life, making it a memorable celebration.

As I grew older, my pastry was permeated with the essence, flavors and colors of my beloved Mexico, always seeking to delight the most demanding palate.

Today, I feel privileged to share with you my exciting journey as a pastry chef.
